We recently more of your outstanding packages from the Patriots Lunch Club to us here in Kandahar, Afghanistan. I can’t express enough how I personnally appreciate what your group is doing.for us. My Soldiers and I are pretty isolated up here in the mountains and don’t regularly get a chance to obtain some of the basic items that you all were generous enough to send. Basic hygiene products and socks are of course necessities but I think most of Soldier are grateful for the candy and games to be honest. For me personally, the best touch was all the letters that you and your group took the time to write to a Soldier that they didn’t even know. Times can be tough over here especially during the Holidays, it’s gestures like yours that really make the difference. I tried sending you some pictures of our happy and excited Soldiers but they just wouldn’t send, sorry. Again, thank you very much and Happy Holidays. By the way, we did receive all your packages just prior to Christmas so it was a Merry Christmas afterall. Thank You!
